Give Help

Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind food banks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Volunteer Roles

If you are interested in joining our fantastic team of friendly, welcoming volunteers, please go to our volunteering site and search for ‘Brent’ to find available roles and apply here!

We currently need volunteers across our three sites:

Neasden Foodbank Centre (Vestry Hall, Neasden Lane, NW10 2TS) open every Tuesday & Thursday

Kingsbury Foodbank Centre (Lindsay Park Baptist Church, The Mall, HA3  9TG) open every Wednesday

Willesden Warehouse (100 High Road, Willesden, NW10 2PP) open every Monday & Wednesday

In addition to volunteering at our food bank centres and warehouse, we are also looking for volunteer drivers and driver buddies and social media volunteers.

We bring in new volunteers regularly, but there is sometimes a waiting period between intakes while we introduce a new group of volunteers.  In case an opportunity you are interested in is full, please check back again in a few weeks to see if it has re-opened.  There may also be a few weeks wait between your application and being invited in for a trial shift, but we will respond as soon as we start bringing in the next group of volunteers.  Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you!
