Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.
Volunteers are the driving force behind food banks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Meet people who visit the food bank, help to pack and give out food parcels. We need help to weigh, sort and store donated food before it’s made into parcels for people to collect. You could help in this vital work to ensure we have the right food available at all times. We are looking for volunteers at both our Neasden (NW10) and Kingsbury (HA3) foodbank centres.
Volunteer drivers play a fundamental role in the running of the food bank, collecting food donations from a variety of locations across the local area in our food bank van or in their own cars, and also delivering food parcels to people at home who are shielding. Family or household groups of 2 people who can travel together are helpful but not essential. Find our more and download the role profile here.
Help us to promote the work of the food bank and encourage donations through our Twitter and Facebook and other local social media networks. Find out more and download the role profile here.
We also need some help with answering phones and emails, general admin, data entry etc.
If you are interested, we’d love to hear from you! Please go to our volunteering site and search for ‘Brent’ to find available roles and apply:
