If you need help from our foodbank there are a few simple steps to follow.
As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds in the UK, our main priority is ensuring the safety of everyone who comes to our food bank – whether it’s someone needing help, someone volunteering their time, or someone making a donation.
Things are changing quickly, so we’ll keep this page updated regularly with information about what’s happening at Brent Foodbank and how people can access support and help us be there for people in crisis.
The most important step is to get a foodbank voucher.
In order to provide the most appropriate help we work with local agencies. If they feel you are struggling to put food on the table, they will issue you with a foodbank voucher . The local agency can also provide long term support if needed to help address some of the issues behind the reasons for your crisis. Agencies we work with include: Citizens Advice, job centres, welfare assistance, housing support officers, children’s centres, health visitors, social services and some local charities.
If you are a support service or charity and would like to become a registered referral agency for our foodbank, or you are an existing referral agency and would like to use our phone referral system, please contact us.
